Playtime (1967) French Grande Movie Poster

An original French Grande poster for Jacques Tati’s Playtime, the 1967 comedy starring Tati as Monsieur Hulot. The striking architectural design by René Ferracci depicts a modernist cityscape populated by small, colorful figures, reflecting the film’s focus on modern urban life and architecture. Playtime was famously filmed in 70mm and was Tati’s most ambitious feature production.

Condition

Poster remains in its original folded state with an extensive grid of horizontal and vertical fold lines and associated fold wear. The paper shows overall age-related toning, scattered spotting and surface marks, with localized discoloration and wear along several folds. The reverse has pronounced bleed-through from the front artwork and additional handling marks, while the front retains visible surface wear and fold-related creasing.
